SIR (CHIEF) MICHAEL ADE. OJO OON KJW
Sir (Chief) Michael Ade. Ojo is the Chairman of Toyota (Nigeria) Limited. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Business Admnistration (D.BA) from the same institution in 1999.
His work experience spans over 50 years, holding appointments with CFAO, the Federal Civil Service and BP (Nig) Ltd. He is Chairman of various companies, Moorhouse Company Ltd., Imperial Telecommunications Ltd. and Braun Limited. He also serves on the Board of a number of other companies including First City Monument Bank Group. He holds a string of awards from various social and business clubs, which he joined over the years. He was conferred with the chieftaincy title of AARE ATAYESE of Ilara-Mokin in recognition of the various developmental projects, which he championed in his hometown.
In addition, he added another feather to his crown when he bagged another chieftaincy title of the ASIWAJU of Imesi-Ile, Osun State, in recognition of his numerous philanthropic gestures towards the development of the town.
In 2005, he was honored by the Federal Government of Nigeria with the award of Officer of the Order Of the Niger (OON) in recognition of his valuable contribution to the growth of the economy and the auto industry in particular. The Ooni of Ife, HRM Oba Okunade Sijuwade , in 2010, conferred him with the title of Baaloro of The source.
He has subsequently been conferred with many awards from the automobile industry, including the Auto Legend Award conferred on him by the Nigerian Auto Media Awards (NAMA).
Sir. Chief Michael Ade.Ojo is an educationist and a sports enthusiast. He is the founder of Elizade University and Smokin Hills Golf Resort both in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State.
MR. KUNLE ADE-OJO
Mr. Kunle Ade-Ojo is the Managing Director of Toyota (Nigeria) Limited. A graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Reading, he also holds an M.Sc in Automotive Product Engineering from Cranfield University, both in the United Kingdom.
As a Global Management Associate, he worked extensively in different operational departments while at Toyota Motor Sales, USA. He returned to Nigeria as the Business and Strategic Development Manager of Toyota (Nigeria) Limited and rose through the ranks.
He was the Executive Director until his appointment as the Managing Director of the Company. One of his outstanding achievements as the Managing Director within his second year of leading the company is seeing to the establishment of the Toyota Assembly Plant in Nigeria and his supervision and test of the first Hiace bus assembled in the plant.
He has attended various Executive Management Programmes both at the Lagos Business School and the Wits Business School, South Africa. He is a Member of Council, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also a Member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria.
CHIEF SAM O. BOLARINDE
Chief Bolarinde holds an M.Sc. degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Surrey, England.
His work experience spans over 50 years, holding appointments with Vitafoam Nigeria Plc where he retired as the Managing Director.
MR. ADEMOLA ADE-OJO
He is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Florida, and holds an MBA degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. He worked variously at Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., Torrance, California; Tabron Financial Services, Detroit, Michigan; Mel Farr Ford, Oak Park, Michigan.
IWANAMI GOTA SAN
He was educated at the prestigious Keio University, Japan and joined Sumitomo Corporation Japan in 1988 as a staff of the Motor Vehicles Department No. 7. Through dint of hard work and dedication to duty, he rose through the ranks; becoming the Manager, Automotive Section No. 2, Automotive department No. 1 in 2006. By 2014, he became a General Manager, Automotive Sales and Marketing Department. 2. He had a commendable career progression and he is currently the Corporate Officer, General Manager, Automotive Sales & Marketing Business Division.
